Psalm 42:8, “The LORD will command His loving kindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me- A prayer to the God of my life.”

You may be in the dark clouds but remember He made the clouds. I don’t know what you are going through right now and it may just seem that you just can’t see your way for all the dark clouds surrounding you, but God sees your way clearly if you will just let Him guide you and give you His song in the night. Maybe it’s an illness or divorce or some other relationship or your finances, whatever it might be your situation didn’t take God by surprise! He knows where you are and during all of this He will still show you His loving kindness and give you a song in the night if you allow Him to! He loves you so much and He does care about your heartaches. It says in Isaiah that He came to heal the broken hearted. He doesn’t want you to continue to feel weighed down; He came to lift all the burdens off that you allow Him to. He never says, “Well, you know just give me these few things and then you deal with the rest of it on your own.” No, He says to give it all to Him and “joy will come in the morning.” He wants to be the one to carry the weight of your world. He didn’t make you strong enough to do it on your own because He is a loving and very jealous God and He wants you to need Him! He wants to be your hero and the one you turn to when you need something. It gives Him great pleasure to pour His love out on your life, so let Him! Give Him everything you’ve got today, quit trying to do it all yourself. Too often we wait until we realize there is no other way because we know then that when there is no other way the Lord will come through, but why wait for that? Why not just give it all to Him today?
